The agenda includes the election of two Board Members for two-year terms and 2 presentations.
In 2024, we will elect the Vice-President and At-Large Director. The meeting is open to the public.
The Board terms have recently been reduced from 3 years down to 2 year. Nominations will be accepted from the floor at the meeting. All APF members are eligible to run for an office and vote. Single members have one vote and family and business memberships have two votes. Members must be present to vote.
The Vice President leads a variety of work and recreational events for APF throughout the year. The At Large Director if a full member of the Board and provides leadership on special projects.
Anderson Park Friends is a 501 (C) (3) organization recognized by both the US Internal Revenue Service and is tax-exempt under WI state statutes. We are recognized as one of the most dynamic conversation and agricultural organizations in southern Dane County.

The agenda includes several presentations on two small scale agriculture projects going on in southern Dane County.
Katie Whitten, Staff, Friends of Silverwood Park, will discuss the ag activities at Silverwood County Park (outside Albion). Find more information at www.silverwoodpark.org/.
Heather Lynch, Green Haven Gardens, Co Owner,will profile their farm activities and the emerging role of women in small scale agriculture. Find more information at www.greenhavengardenswi.com/.
Joleen Stinson, Director, Dane County Parks Department. She will highlight several major projects within the park system. She will also discuss the county’s five-year planning process for Anderson Farm County Park and other parks in the system.
Light snacks and beverages will be served.
