    2022 Candlelight Hike and Bonfire

The annual event is a community favorite. Over 750 people attended this fun, family, event, in 2021.

The event includes a variety of activities. The hiking trail through the Sholts Forest and Prairie is lit with tiki torches and luminaries. A bonfire is located in the Sholts picnic area. Limited snacks and beverages are available at no cost.

The event is usually co-sponsored with the Oregon Wellness Coalition and the Healthy Parks Project. The local boy and girl scout troops provide volunteer help with set-up and clean-up. Sponsorships are available to local businesses.
