Join Us! Our mission is to improve local food systems and fight hunger through our 1/4 acre garden. Our goal is to raise 4,700 pounds of fresh produce.
Work is seasonal and dependent on the weather and conditions. Our food pantry garden actitivities are from April through October.
Any inclement weather decisions are made at the garde (805 Union Road, north of the farm house), just before the start time. Dress for the weather and wet/dry conditions.
Bring gloves and your own water. Personal needs can be taken care of at the Dog Park outhouse. Their is a charging station there if needed.
Events will be held every Tuesday at this time. Some Monday sessions will be added in the spring and fall, as needed.
Volunteers need to participate in email exchanges to coordinate tasks and equipment.
APF will provide onsite orientations and all equipment.
We develop custom community service projects that focus on the garden for businesses, churches, and other organizations!
